Building the Tribe

Sacred Space Center is evolving into more than a retreat venue. It is a living project focused on sovereignty — land, community and a vision that is growing over time.

We are looking for people who feel called to help build something meaningful from the ground up. Not as visitors. But as stewards, builders, and long-term contributors.

If you feel energized by hard work, honest communication, sharing your own unique skills & talents and the challenge of bringing a vision to life, you may be a good fit here.

The Vision

Sacred Space is evolving into a place where people can step out of the noise of modern day society and reconnect with nature, themselves, and authentic community.

Over the coming years we are developing:

• A retreat sanctuary immersed in nature
• Regenerative land stewardship practices - enabling food sovereignty
• Thoughtfully built infrastructure for gatherings and workshops
• A culture rooted in honesty, responsibility, and care for the land

This is not a finished project.

It is a place being built in real time.

And that requires like-minded individuals working towards a common goal.

What We’re Looking For

We are inviting individuals who are willing to contribute their skills, energy, and presence toward the long-term development of this land.

People who thrive here tend to be:

• Self-motivated
• Comfortable with physical work
• Honest and direct communicators
• Able to live simply and cooperatively
• Drawn to long-term vision rather than short-term convenience

• People with farming, homesteading and construction experience

This environment works best for people who enjoy building, improving systems, and seeing tangible progress over time.

The Work

There are many ways to contribute depending on skills and current needs, including:

• Agriculture (farming & gardening)

• Building and construction work
• Grounds maintenance and preparing the space for retreats

• Creative contributions: art, music and crafts
• Supporting retreat operations when events are hosted
• Maintaining shared living spaces

Some days involve creative problem solving.
Some days involve sweat and a shovel.

Both are part of building something real.

Culture & Communication

Sacred Space operates on a few simple principles:

Honesty. Responsibility. Communication.

Living and working together requires openness and maturity.

We value people who:

• Speak directly and respectfully

• Are self-reflective and take initiative
• Take responsibility for their actions
• Are willing to work through challenges together
• Care about the wellbeing of the group and the land

The Exchange

Those of you who will contribute your time and effort to the land will have opportunities to live and grow within the project.

Details vary depending on the role and commitment, includes:

• Accommodation
• Access to shared community spaces
• Participation in the rhythm of the land and retreats
• Opportunity to grow with the project over time

Work expectations and living arrangements will be discussed in further detail after reaching out to us so that expectations are clear for everyone involved.

The Long-Term Opportunity

This project is growing slowly and intentionally.

For individuals who demonstrate commitment, responsibility, and alignment with the vision, there may be opportunities to take on deeper roles within the development and operation of Sacred Space.

We are not simply filling temporary positions.

We are looking for people who want to help shape the future of this land.
